Is bending unstable in metal mold processing? Do you know how to deal with it?
1. When there is an inward deviation of the angle, it is necessary to check whether the pressure rib of the bending block is too high. Basically, this situation rarely occurs in the molds that have been produced normally, and usually occurs during the trial production of new molds. In this case, the handling method is as follows:
1. Reduce the height of the rib for bending into the sub;
2. Reduce the connection area between the bending punch and the material;
3. Increase the bending gap;
4. Re-adjust the closing height of the mold and kill the mold;
5. Increase the speed of the punch. Sometimes the speed of the punch is too slow, which will cause the angle to be inward. However, this possibility is very small.
Second, the angle deviation is a phenomenon that we often see, and this situation often occurs on molds that have been produced normally. When repairing the mold, it will often be encountered. The treatment method of the angle deviation as shown in the figure below is as follows:
1. The mold is not killed;
2. Increase the height of the pressure rib that is bent into the sub. If there is an R angle, consider reducing the R angle if it affects the size of the product. It will be worn during the production process. At this time, we need to trim the worn rounded corners to ensure that the pressure ribs can enter the material;
3. Increase the connection area between the punch and the material, that is, increase the height of the bending punch;
4. Reduce the bending gap. If it is an old mold, consider replacing the worn bending punch;
5. Reduce the punching speed.
